Ashtree Landrover International

Ashtree Landrover International is owned and run by Lyndon Swann. He has been involved with Landrovers for over 20 years and what was once a hobby has now become a business. He has owned Landrovers of one type or another during this period and the highlight of his owner ship was competing successfully in the London to Dakar classic rally in 2005 in his early series 3 where he finished a very creditable 35th and received the spirit of the rally award which was voted for by the other competitors. He comes from a background that is environmentally based and is conscious of the fact that where possible in this throw away world we live in if things can be recycled then they should be. He has carried this over into his business plan and now successfully restores the landrovers main weak point (the bulkhead) back to its original state and then galvanises these items to ensure longevity.

Based in the Hampshire countryside for the last 15 years he uses his old faithful 109 long wheel base series 3 when he can including day to day work use and has now turned the hands on experience gained over this time to good effect to bring fit and forget refurbished classic landrover parts (including defender) to the UK and overseas market.

Lyndon lives with his wife Jill who takes an active part in the running of the business and has two stepsons and a sausage dog which features on the company logo as she is often to be found adorning one or more of his collection.
He plans to eventually start to try and produce some of these items that are no longer made to ensure a continuing supply for the huge following these popular vehicles have.
